Conference of birds is a retreat festival inspired by the timeless mystic tale, Manteq-ut-Tair of the great Persian Sufi poet, Farid-ud-din Attar.
This is no ordinary gathering— it is a sacred migration. A journey through the Seven Valleys of Love, where the seeker’s soul is tested, transformed, and illuminated.
Seven days, seven stages— through longing, mystery, surrender, and truth all in search of the legendary Simurgh, the mirror of the Self, the King of all Birds.
Each year, birds of every hue hear the call echoing across the winds of the world. They come—keepers of song and silence, weavers of story and rhythm, dancers of devotion and fire.
This ever-growing tribe gathers to remember the ancient teachings whispered from sage to seeker from deserts, forests, temples, and dreams.
To share the wisdom of the Sufi path and honor sacred traditions from many lands—
each a thread in the great tapestry of unity.
So dear soul, spread your wings.

Our annual mystic migration will take off from an extraordinary bird paradise, Yenice Valley. Where life blossoms everywhere the wind blows and whispers wisdom, where earth is pure and holds its secrets, where water rides on mills and purify dreams, where fire burns and brings transformation!

We are honored to host our beloved Sufi Elders who are the carriers of the ancient Sufi wisdom which is based in the teachings of different Lineages , like Chishty, Sufi Ruhaniat International which carries the message of open heart and unity, to all manifestations of the Divine.

This year, alongside our main gathering, we’re excited to introduce Nani Nani – the Children’s Festival!
While parents are diving deep into the sacred flow of the Conference of Birds, little ones will be laughing, playing, and singing in their own joyful space. The Nani Nani team has prepared a great program full of music, playful walks, felt art, stories, cinema, and lots of love. We’re so grateful to welcome this beautiful group of friends to share their light and this sacred work with our community. As the grown-ups soar in stillness and song, the children will be chirping away in delight—each in their own way, dancing us all toward a brighter tomorrow.
